While it is evident that Scrooge does not celebrate Christmas and resists supporting charities, we pondered whether these aspects alone are sufficient to still label him as a symbol of greed and materialism in the year 2022. These questions became the foundation of our creative investigation into his character, prompting us to explore the possible experiences and circumstances that shaped Scrooge's persona prior to the events depicted in "A Christmas Carol."
